My art stems from photography, expanding into a surreal world of psychedelic patterns.
Using my own photographs, I reimagine the world via digital collages that then become analog collages, often augmented the with paint, resin, and other media.
Living in Chicago I was deeply inspired by the architecture, many of my pieces blend multiple photos of different building and landmarks in an attempt to capture the greater essence at large.
My process is based on the concept of repurposing; I repurpose my photos to create digital artwork, and I repurpose my digital art to create new hand-cut collages.
By fusing familiar images into novel compositions, I challenge viewers to adopt a new perspective.
My intricate art mirrors our complex reality while my use of geometry symbolizes the balance that may be found in the chaos.
